HISTORY
A Brief History of the Company
1923
Romanian-Austrian company Farola established for the manufacture of copper wire, sheets and cables.
1935
The first metallurgical factory in Romania established under the name of Metrom.
1948
The merger of Farola and Metrom — SC Metrom SA is formed.
1990+
Specialization in heavy non-ferrous flat products and military products.
2005
Modernization of Quarto degrossor laminator.
2013
Investment in machinery and technology for the production of monetary rounds.
